Leisure activities
Leisure time affirms cultural values oriented to development, enriching and nourishing of young people’s spirit.
It is in the function of capacities and aptitudes development, which have individual and social value and find the purpose in the self, apart from the direct obligations.
The leisure time goals are: personality development, rest, fun and amusement.
The task of the home is to offer conditions for exercising and meeting potential, authentic, everyday needs of students within their leisure time, and educators task is to make it possible for students to fill their leisure time with quality activities.
The educator advises, refers, gives an example, informs, explains, points out to mistakes, helps in finding real needs, participates in organization of various activities.
Within the Home, the students are offered engagement in the sections and activities as follows: play and recital, musical, art, dance, folklore, sports, literary and other.
Expected effects of the leisure time are: relaxation, refreshment, enjoyment, spontaneity, feeling of social participation, thinking about the self and others, enlarging views and care about the self.
