Announcement for admission of secondary schools students in institutions offering accommodation and meals in the Republic of Serbia for the school year 2010/2011.

1. ADMISSION CONDITIONS
The students of secondary schools, the founder of which is the Republic of Serbia, autonomous region or a self-government unit, who have been registered for the first time in corresponding grade in the current school year, the schooling of whom is financed from the Republic budget, who are Serbian citizens and the residence of whom is not in the place of the school they attend, are entitled to accommodation and meals in the Institution for students’ accommodation and meals in the Republic of Serbia (hereinafter: the Institution).

The right to accommodation and meals in the Institution may be exercised by students who are the citizens of a country in the Region, under conditions as given in para.1 of this item, except conditions which do not refer to the Serbian citizenship.

Students from socially vulnerable groups exercise their right to accommodation and meals under conditions, as given in the para.1 of this item and less strict conditions apply for them.
Candidates prove fulfillment of conditions for admission in the Institution by filing corresponding original documentation, that is, certified copies.

Within its accommodation capacities, the Institution allocates up to 10% of the required number for accommodation and meals of students from vulnerable groups.

3. DEADLINES FOR APPLYING
Application of candidates shall be in the terms, as follows:
- for first allocation, from 7th to 14th July 2010.
- for the rest of vacancies, from 23rd to 28th August 2010.
- for vulnerable social groups, not being given accommodation in the first allocation term, from 23rd to 26th August 2010.


4. NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
When applying to the Institution, the candidates, together with Application form, file the following documentation (original documents or certified copies):

- Certificate on finished primary school and confirmation on enrollment in some secondary school (for students enrolled in I grade of secondary school),
- Certificate on finished previous grade of secondary school (for students enrolled in II, III, or IV grade of secondary school),
- Confirmation on income per family member, issued by the municipal body in charge, in the place of parent’s or guardian’s residence (place of residence not changed for six months prior to announcement of competition),
- Diploma and other awards for participation in students competitions, as of the students competitions calendar (organized by the Ministry of Education), in the previously finished grade,
- Awards and tributes for participation in the Institution activities – Students’ Home (for the students enrolled in II, III or IV grade of secondary (high school).
